Darlene Ephriam is a native of Austin, Texas, and a public speaker who believes she was destined to spread a message of empowerment that everyone – especially women and girls – can become all that God purposed them to be. Darlene differs from many corporate presenters because she believes in discussing the God-centered principles of honesty, integrity and values, and how those principles should influence personal and corporate behavior. She is a firm believer in the principle of carpe diem and helps her clients summon the courage to seize the day in pursing their goals. It is in that spirit that she stepped out on faith on July 4, 2003, to pursue her lifelong dream of skydiving. Darlene aims to help her audiences focus on who they are in the eyes of God, and not on what the world has fashioned them to become. Her client list includes faith-based institutions as well as nonprofits, for profits and governmental agencies, including Austin Teen Connection, (TOPS) Texas Organized Professionals, and Southern California Youth for Christ. Darlene has worked as the public relations coordinator for the Texas Commission on Human Rights, as well as held various administrative roles with the Texas Department of Health, the Texas School for the Deaf and the Comptroller of Public Accounts. She has received numerous awards for her presentations and community service. Darlene is the mother of three children, DeShonda, Marcus and daughter-in-law Keisha, as well as the grandmother of four charming boys. She has been married for 29 years to a man she says is “the most God-centered, adorable man on the planet”, Minister Ray Ephriam. They are faithful members of Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church (www.themount.net) in Austin, where A.W. Anthony Mays is the Pastor. Darlene’s
presentations are tailored for faith-based ministries as well as Corporate
America. She customize presentations specific to your organization’s
needs. Or you may select from one of her many topics:
