Darlene Ephraim

Darlene has been a faithful member of Mount Sinai Missionary Baptist Church, Austin, Texas (www.themount.net) for 19 years under the thought provoking guidance and teaching of her Under Shepherd, Pastor A.W. Anthony Mays.

She has been married for 32 years to her best friend and greatest supporter, Minister Ray Ephriam and they have three adult children, DeShonda 33, Marcus 31 and daughter-in-law Keisha 29. They also have five adorable grandsons.

Darlene is a native Austinite. She was reared by her parents, Mr. & Mrs. Levi and Ann White, who raised, loved and nurtured more than 200 neglected and abused foster children. Darlene is the middle child of six other siblings, who all love the Lord with their whole hearts. Through their actions, her parents taught her how important integrity, perseverance, and entrepreneurship is in molding and shaping a life for Christian service.

Darlene has encountered many hardships in her life, yet she gives witness to how God brought her from the PIT to His PALACE, the church, to be restored and in fellowship with other believers.

Her favorite two scriptures are Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” and Ephesians 6:12 “We do not wrestle against flesh and blood but against principalities, against powers, against rulers of darkness of this age…THEREFORE, put on the full armor of God.”
